Colligo Hits Record Year for Revenue and Profit
Company Gains 120 New Customers in 2005
Vancouver, BC -- February 16, 2006 - Colligo Networks, the leading developer of collaboration software for mobile teams, ended a very successful 2005 with record revenue and profit. Year over year revenue increases of 95% in the fourth quarter, and 60% for the year contributed to the improved financial results. The company signed 120 new customers in the audit, IT services, education, financial services and emergency response sectors, increasing the license base of active Colligo Workgroup Edition users to over 80,000. The addition of these customers demonstrates the continued need of mobile teams to access, modify and share content in "occasionally connected" settings where they cannot rely on access to corporate servers or the Internet.
"Colligo's growth in 2005 demonstrates the value to our customers of a singular focus on improving the productivity of mobile people and teams," says Barry Jinks, President and CEO of Colligo Networks. "In addition to deploying about 30,000 new licenses in 2005, we also received significant industry recognition. PC Magazine and Lotus Advisor awarded Colligo Workgroup Edition 4.0 the Editor's Choice Awards. Further, we achieved Gold Certified status in the Microsoft Partner Program with a competency in Mobility Solutions. This status adds us to Microsoft's elite partners."
In a recent article in the Always On Network, Dan'l Lewin, Corporate Vice President of .Net Business Development at Microsoft stated Colligo is ".among the most creative, inventive (and yes, "innovative") startups that we follow." Colligo Networks has introduced a number of unique products that enable mobile workers to leverage corporate collaboration platforms in occasionally connected settings. Colligo Workgroup Edition 4.0 is popular with internal auditors and CPA firms since it supports all major engagement software including Lotus Notes®, CaseWare Working Papers, CSI Engagement CS and ProSystem fx Engagement. In November, 2005 Colligo released the first Beta of a new product for Microsoft SharePoint® and will be releasing the final version at the end of the first quarter 2006.
